I’m Shelby Bourgeois Coleman, your host on tonight’s episode of “The Bachelor” #agirlcandreamright; but really, HI, I’m Shelby, the very confused, overly happy, and probably too excited, writer of this blog! I’m coming off of a few year hiatus, so bear with me, the computer keys are still a little dusty.  I’m a 29- year- old resident of a cutie little town called Covington, Louisiana, and the product of a one stoplight town about an hour and a half away, and I am SO doggone proud of that! 29 years of me to share- 29 years of memories, laughs, travels, and beautiful things, 29 years of secrets, mistakes, tears, and lessons- There’s so much to me, so much that even I have yet to uncover, but I can’t wait to share with you guys. 

But for starters, I am a Jesus-lovin’, a charcuterie eatin’, Mexican Food Connoisseur who has the curiosity of a five-year-old. I love learning new things, gaining new perspectives, and growing my appreciation for the world outside of the wonderfully beautiful southeast, Louisiana. Through all of life’s ups and downs, I’ve learned that life is good, people are inherently freaking awesome, and Jesus is the most rad person to ever step foot on this planet.

If you have any more questions about me, seriously please ask, I am the one topic that I’m an expert in; but for now, just know that I look forward to meeting you, learning from you, and laughing with you. I know that life is far too short for negativity and I hope that, if nothing else, no one leaves this blog with a cold heart.

I am so thankful for you, for your spirit, and for your momma and them for raising someone cool enough to give me five minutes of their time; I love you already.
