What’s In The Box?

Happy Holy Week, my friends!

I wanted to start this week’s post off with one of my favorite Bible verses to remind us all of the reason that we will be celebrating Easter next Sunday. Sure the Reese’s eggs are wonderful and so is the excuse to eat candy for breakfast, but how awesome is it that our God gave his Son for US. We are sinners, perfectly imperfect, but He loves us anyway. Make an extra effort to live your life like Christ this week my friends- love a little harder, go the extra mile to make your friends smile, and pray even for those who cut you off in traffic or get your order wrong in the drive-thru 🙂

Y’all, this weekend was AMAZING. Friday my FabFitFun box came in then I went to dinner with some of my friends from OT school and got asked to be in my friend Amanda’s wedding ❤ I AM SO EXCITED! It was so special just to be with those girls again, so the surprise of being a bridesmaid was icing on top of the cake! We finish our final Fieldwork this week and graduate in May so send some prayers our way that things finish up smoothly!

Saturday I drove to Lafayette for a baby shower for TJ’s aunt then went to a couple’s shower for one of my childhood friends, Mallory! Mal and I were on the same dance competition team for a number of years, so we spent SO much time together growing up. Getting to be with some of my old dance friends last night was such a blast, we all had so much fun reminiscing on our vacations and sleepovers and dances throughout the night last night! We may have even busted out in one of our favorite dances “5-6-7-8” from when we were eight in the middle of the party #sorrynotsorry (us in our 5-6-7-8 costumes pictured below for your entertainment!)

Sunday was filled with a some Jesus, a killer nap, some crafting with my momma, and some time outside enjoying the gorgeous weather! Phew, it was one of those weekends that you need a weekend to recover from but I enjoyed every single minute!
